Bishkek, Oct. 2, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Edil Baisalov held a working meeting with Secretary General of ISESCO Salem bin Mohammed Al-Malik within the framework of the third ministerial conference of the member countries of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation on Education, Science and Culture (ISESCO), which is held in Muscat, Oman.
During the meeting the sides discussed current and prospective areas of cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and ISESCO, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers said.
Edil Baisalov stressed the importance of deepening cooperation in the field of education and science, noting the significant achievements of the Kyrgyz Republic in the modernization of the educational system and the importance of supporting international partners in this process.
He expressed gratitude to ISESCO for the support provided and stressed the readiness of Kyrgyzstan to intensify participation in the programs of the organization.
In turn, the ISESCO secretary general highly appreciated Kyrgyzstan's aspiration to modernize education and stressed that the organization is ready to expand cooperation to strengthen cultural exchange between Kyrgyzstan and member countries.
