Bishkek, Oct. 29, 2021 / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov met with JDS (Project for Human Resource Development Scholarship by Japanese Grant Aid) scholars selected for study at universities in Japan.
Edil Baisalov congratulated the scholars of the 15th group of the JDS project on admission to universities, stressing that their training is of priority importance for the state, the press service of the Cabinet of Ministers reported.
“Young professionals in the state and municipal service have won scholarships from the JDS project and will be studying at leading universities in Japan. The head of state and the Cabinet of Ministers attach great importance to the fact that professional strong personnel work in state and municipal services. After all, civil servants will implement a new political system. Civil servants are entrusted with a great responsibility, which must be justified before the people of Kyrgyzstan,” he said, wishing the fellows success in their studies.
The deputy chairman of the Cabinet expressed gratitude to the Japanese government for cooperation within the framework of the JDS project, which serves as a bridge of friendship between the two countries, and during the period of which more than 200 civil servants have been trained at Japanese universities.
Ambassador of Japan to the Kyrgyz Republic Maeda Shigeki and Permanent Representative of JICA in the Kyrgyz Republic Nemoto Naoyuki also made a welcoming speech at the meeting. They wished success to the scholars in their studies and expressed their hope that in the future the education they received will benefit the people of Kyrgyzstan.
