Deputy Cabinet Chairman Kozhoshev meets with EEC Minister Varos Simonyan

Bishkek, May 14, 2022. /Kabar/. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev met with Varos Simonyan, a member of the Board (Minister) of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) in charge of Internal Markets, Informatization, Information and Communication Technologies.

During the meeting, the parties discussed the issue of strengthening common markets, as well as the ongoing work of the Eurasian Economic Commission to identify and eliminate barriers and obstacles in the domestic market of the integration association, the press service of the Kyrgyz Cabinet reported.

Minister Varos Simonyan spoke about the progress of removing barriers in the internal market of the Eurasian Economic Union for 2019-2021.

First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet, Chairman of the Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission Arzybek Kozhoshev stressed the need to develop and implement effective measures and mechanisms to promptly remove barriers and prevent their reappearance, which are the main priorities identified in the address of Kyrgyz President Sadyr Zhaparov to heads of EAEU member states in the framework of the country’s presidency in the bodies of the integration association.

Following the meeting, Kozhoshev suggested that the information contained in this report on the progress in eliminating obstacles in the internal market of the Union for the period 2019-2021 be voiced to EAEU leaders at the meeting of the Supreme Eurasian Economic Council, to be held on May 27 this year in Bishkek.
