Bishkek, Jan. 15, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers - Minister of Water Resources, Agriculture and Processing Industry Bakyt Torobaev held bilateral meetings with Ambassadors of China Du Dewen, Turkiye Ahmet Sadiq Dogan, Iran Golam Hossein Yadegari and Pakistan Hassan Ali Zaig.
The purpose of these bilateral meetings was to discuss the economic agenda with an emphasis on intensifying and further expanding trade and economic cooperation, attracting investment into the economy of the Kyrgyz Republic and increasing trade turnover with these countries.
Bakyt Torobaev discussed in detail with the ambassadors the issues of creating joint investment development funds, the formation of trade and logistics centers, transport cooperation and transit cargo transportation, the implementation of agreements based on the results of meetings of bilateral Intergovernmental Commissions, as well as expanding the legal framework in these areas.
To promote these issues, the parties agreed to hold a number of events, including exchange of visits at the level of heads of relevant economic ministries and departments.
Following the meetings, the parties confirmed their readiness to make efforts to intensify and strengthen cooperation at the intergovernmental level, through line ministries and interaction between the business circles of these countries.
