Deputy chairman of Kyrgyz Cabinet and CEO of OPEC Fund discuss topical issues of cooperation

Bishkek, June 4, 2022. / Kabar /. First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of Kyrgyzstan Arzybek Kozhoshev and Director General of the OPEC Fund for International Development (Organization of Petroleum Exporting Countries) Dr. Abdulhamid Al-Khalifa discussed topical issues of bilateral cooperation in the implementation of infrastructure projects, including the project of rehabilitation of the Balykchy - Karakol - Balykchy road.

The sides also discussed the issue of holding the Fourth Round Table in Kyrgyzstan in the near future with the participation of members of the Arab Coordination Group, which includes the Islamic Development Bank, the Saudi Development Fund, the Qatar Development Fund, the Kuwait Arab Development Fund and the OPEC International Development Fund.

The official delegation of Kyrgyzstan, headed by the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Arzybek Kozhoshev, took part in the opening ceremony of the 47th Annual Meeting of the Islamic Development Bank Group of Governors in the city of Sharm El-Sheikh (Arab Republic of Egypt).

This year the meeting is held under the slogan "Recovery and Resilience" and will be devoted to the topic of post-COVID recovery of the Islamic Development Bank member countries.
