Bishkek, Feb. 3, 2022 . / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the State Tax Service of Kyrgyzstan Nurlan Umtulov did not rule out an increase in prices in the catering sector.

During a briefing in Bishkek on Friday, he said that the possible rise in prices does not depend on the tax authorities. Umutov refers to the global trend in the form of rising prices of products in general.

"Of course, there is such a possibility, but in this area all depends on the businessmen themselves - how they build their pricing policy. Some facilities can charge not only for food, but also for service. There is also quite a large percentage – 15 % in some places, or additionally overpriced alcohol and tobacco products are used. In short, taxpayer himself will regulate the issue,” said Nurlan Umtulov.
