Bishkek, Mar. 27, 2019. /Kabar/. During the VIII Kyrgyz-Russian interregional conference, Russian Deputy Finance Minister Sergei Storchak asked whether it was possible for Russian citizens to buy Kyrgyz securities.
“Is it difficult for a Russian investor to enter and buy a share or a bond? Surplus capital from Russia could come to you and thus make a contribution to the development of your economy or is it impossible?” Sergei Storchak asked.
Chairman of the State Service for Regulation and Supervision of the Financial Market Sanjar Mukambetov replied that this was possible.
“Russian participants of the stock market are not the only ones who can take advantage,” Mukambetov noted.
Mukambetov also added that taxation is lower in Kyrgyzstan.
