Deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan meets with ambassador of Afghanistan

Bishkek, June 11, 2021. / Kabar /. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Artykbaev received Ambassador of Afghanistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Bismellah Vaziri.

The press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic said that during the meeting, the sides discussed topical issues of the development of Kyrgyz-Afghan relations. In particular, on the need to develop bilateral cooperation in trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian spheres, including attracting investment, tourism, education, as well as promoting the early oncoming of peace and security in Afghanistan.

Deputy Minister Artykbayev thanked for the measures taken by the Afghan side to improve the situation of ethnic Kyrgyz in the Pamirs.

In turn, the Afghan ambassador assured that their embassy in Bishkek will make efforts to increase the level of Kyrgyz-Afghan trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.

At the end of the meeting, Artykbaev wished Vaziri professional success and expressed hope for further mutually beneficial cooperation.

Afghan Ambassador Vaziri congratulated Deputy Minister Artykbaev on his appointment and wished him further success in his diplomatic activities.
