Deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan meets with ambassador of Pakistan on incident with foreigners

Bishkek, May 18, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Almaz Imangaziev met withAmbassador of Pakistan to the Kyrgyz Republic Hasan Ali Zaigam in Bishkek.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reports that during the meeting, the Pakistani side was informed about the incident involving foreign citizens and the measures taken by the law enforcement agencies of Kyrgyzstan to suppress illegal actions and ensure public order. The Kyrgyz side also appealed to the Pakistani side with a request to carry out explanatory work among representatives of the Pakistani media about the non-dissemination of false information about the incident.

At the same time, the deputy minister assured the ambassador that the situation was under the control of the competent authorities of the Kyrgyz Republic.
