Bishkek, Sept. 6, 2024. / Kabar/. On September 6, Deputy Foreign Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aibek Moldogaziev met with Ambassador of the People's Republic of China to the Kyrgyz Republic Du Dewen.
According to the ministry, the parties discussed current issues on the agenda of bilateral and multilateral cooperation, noting the importance of strengthening political dialogue, expanding trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation.
Moldogaziev, congratulating the Chinese side on assuming the chairmanship in the SCO, noted that the Kyrgyz Republic and the People's Republic of China have the same understanding on the most important issues of multilateral cooperation within the SCO and wished them a successful chairmanship.
In turn, Ambassador Du Dewen provided information on the priorities and activities within the framework of China's chairmanship in the SCO in 2024-2025 and asked the Kyrgyz side to take an active part. The parties also discussed the progress of the upcoming mutual visits and high-level events.
