On December 16, 2024, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Aibek Moldogaziev received copies of credentials from Ambassadors of the Kingdom of Spain to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana Luis Francisco Martinez Montes, the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana Rosalba Lo Bue Antico, Canada to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana Christopher Duggan, the Republic of Estonia to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Astana Jaap Oru.
Deputy Minister Aibek Moldogaziev congratulated the ambassadors on the start of their diplomatic mission in the Kyrgyz Republic and expressed confidence that joint work will contribute to the further development of mutually beneficial bilateral relations.
During the conversation with the ambassador of Spain, the parties exchanged views on current issues of bilateral cooperation and the international agenda.
With the ambassador of Canada, Moldogaziev discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation, including holding Kyrgyz-Canadian political consultations, interaction within the framework of international organizations.
During the meeting with the ambassador of Venezuela, Moldogaziev announced the intention of the Kyrgyz side to intensify trade and economic relations with Latin American countries, as well as to develop cooperation in the field of education, tourism and sports.
With the Estonian side, Deputy Minister Moldogaziev discussed current issues of bilateral cooperation, including strengthening political dialogue, expanding cooperation in the field of digitalization and cultural and humanitarian ties.
At the end of the meetings, Deputy Minister Moldogaziev assured the interlocutors of his readiness to expand Kyrgyzstan's cooperation with the above-mentioned countries in all areas of mutual interest and to provide the necessary assistance in the implementation of the mission assigned to the ambassadors.
