Deputy FM of Kyrgyzstan receives new head of UN Women in country

Bishkek, Dec. 20, 2024 . / Kabar / . First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan Asein Isaev received newly appointed Head of UN Women in Kyrgyzstan Sadiq Ahmad Zhilani Syed and Ulziyisuren Zhamsran on the occasion of completion of her mission as UN Women representative in Kyrgyzstan.

Isaev thanked Ulziyisuren Zhamsran for her work as head of UN Women in the republic, noting that under her leadership UN Women office made a significant contribution to the implementation of national programs aimed at addressing socio-economic issues.

Along with this, the deputy minister welcomed Sadiq Syed and congratulated him on his appointment.

He emphasized that UN Women is one of the main partners in the implementation and promotion of gender policy in the country and stressed the need to expand mutually beneficial areas of cooperation.

In turn, Sadiq Syed expressed gratitude for the opportunity to meet, discuss topical issues and prospects of cooperation.

The new Head of UN Women Office in the Kyrgyz Republic assured that he would make every effort to develop and enhance comprehensive relations with national partners.
