On December 16, Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Temirbek Erkinov received copies of credentials from the Ambassadors of Ethiopia to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Islamabad Zhemal Beker Abdulo and the People's Democratic Republic of Algeria to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in Tashkent Mohammed Irki.
The press service of the Foreign Ministry reported that Temirbek Erkinov congratulated the ambassadors on the upcoming start of their diplomatic mission in Kyrgyzstan and expressed hope for joint active work to further strengthen relations between the states.
During the conversation with the Ethiopian and Algerian sides, special attention was paid to current issues of bilateral cooperation, prospects for the development of political dialogue, expansion of trade, economic and investment cooperation.
The parties emphasized the possibility of exchanging experience in the field of green economy, developing relations in the field of civil aviation, as well as establishing close ties between diplomatic educational institutions of the countries. At the end of the meeting, Erkinov wished the ambassadors success in their diplomatic mission and expressed hope that cooperation with Ethiopia and Algeria will reach a new qualitative level.
