Bishkek, March 29, 2023. / Kabar /. Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic Edil Baisalov received newly appointed Ambassador of Sweden Thomas Danestad on the occasion of presenting his credentials.
At the meeting, the parties discussed topical issues and prospects for the development of bilateral cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Sweden in the field of cultural, humanitarian, trade and industrial cooperation.
The parties also discussed the priorities of the agenda of Sweden, as the country chairing the European Union, and exchanged views on the establishment of interregional cooperation between the Central Asian and Scandinavian states.
In turn, Thomas Danestad confirmed his readiness to intensify cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Kingdom of Sweden.
