Bishkek, April 30, 2024. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic Manas Zhakypov and the program manager of the Department of Macroeconomic Support of the State Secretariat for Economic Affairs (SECO)Ronald Jindra and representatives of the Swiss Embassy in the Kyrgyz Republic met in Bishkek on April 29.
During the meeting the parties discussed issues of bilateral cooperation, development trends in the financial sector and the progress of implementation of joint projects within the framework of technical cooperation.
Zhakypov expressed hope for further cooperation with SECO and active assistance in the implementation of projects for the development of the financial sector in the Kyrgyz Republic, aimed at developing the infrastructure of the financial market, including the introduction of the digital som, and improving the tools for supervision of financial and credit organizations.
Following the meeting, the Swiss side expressed its readiness for further cooperation with the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic.
