Bishkek, Dec. 14, 2021 . / Kabar /. During a briefing on Tuesday, Deputy Mayor of Bishkek Victoria Mozgacheva called on citizens to be vaccinated.

She noted that the situation today is stable, but this is no reason to relax.

"We have many asymptomatic carriers, but we still urge to observe all hygiene measures, as well as getting vaccines. Today there are about 150 people in hospitals, all of them are unvaccinated," Mozgacheva said.

The deputy mayor added that citizens who rely on their own antibodies cannot be 100 percent sure of their safety from any strain because post-covid and post-vaccine antibodies are different.

"Vaccine doesn't guarantee that you won't get infected, but there is a certainty that you will have a less severe coronavirus," the official concluded.
