Deputy minister of economy of Kyrgyzstan meets with Turkish ambassador

Bishkek, March 15, 2023. /Kabar/. A meeting was held in Bishkek between Deputy Minister of Economy and Commerce of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanat Abdrakhmanov and Ambassador of Turkiye to the Kyrgyz Republic Ahmet Sadiq Dogan.

During the meeting, the Kyrgyz minister noted that the Cabinet of Ministers of the country as a whole pays great attention to improving the investment climate, the private sector, eliminating administrative restrictions, reducing barriers for investors and improving the legislation regulating entrepreneurial activity.

Due to the fact that Turkiye is one of the largest trade and economic partners of Kyrgyzstan and occupies a special place in the structure of foreign trade with non-CIS countries, the meeting participants discussed issues of taking measures to increase bilateral trade, taking into account the existing potential.

Issues were also discussed regarding the establishment of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Investment Fund, which will assist economic cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Turkiye, as well as the modernization and development of the economies of the two countries.

At the same time, an exchange of views took place on issues related to other areas of cooperation of mutual interest.

Following the results of the meeting, the participants expressed their confidence that the Kyrgyz-Turkish relations would receive progressive and fruitful development in the future.
