Bishkek, May 15, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Mirlan Kanimetov and First Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of Uzbekistan Davron Nazarmukhamedov held a bilateral meeting in Bishkek, the press service of Kyrgyz Internal Affairs reported.
During the meeting the sides discussed key aspects of cooperation, issues of unification and coordination of efforts to combat drug trafficking, international religious extremism, cyber threats and transnational organized crime. The sides once again confirmed their readiness to continue cooperation and actively work to strengthen cooperation in the fight against crime.
An exchange of views took place on further development and close cooperation. The sides agreed to hold further coordination meetings with the participation of the heads of departments, operational services, and territorial subdivisions.
At the end of the meeting, Kanimetov expressed confidence that benevolent relations would further strengthen and develop bilateral cooperation.
