Bishkek, Mar.10, 2020. /Kabar/. The main task of the Headquarters is to take measures to ensure stability in the domestic market, Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Erkin Asrandiyev said at the regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for implementing measures, aimed at minimizing the impact of the spread of coronavirus infection on the economic situation in the country.
Today, the meeting of the Headquarters was held with the participation of governors of the republic’s oblasts.
Asrandiyev instructed to organize headquarters in regions and oblasts, and within them to collect and analyze stocks of agricultural products, to monitor prices on a daily basis.
"It is expedient to hold meetings with producers, suppliers, owners of retail networks and markets in order to ensure stable volumes of production, supplies and pricing. It is important for us to know about the volumes of raw materials available, supply contracts, financing needs and the need for foreign labour," he said.
The deputy PM also heard reports of the corresponding state bodies on stocks of agricultural goods and foodstuffs and the needs of the population.
"We should know what is the situation with stocks in our market. There is need to hold negotiations with owners of large trade networks and food markets in order to provide daily information on sales volumes," Asrandiyev added.
He also noted that according to preliminary data from state bodies, the situation in the domestic market is stable.
The goods of agricultural importance are available in sufficient quantity, and their import is carried out in the previous regime.
The Kyrgyz side has not introduced any export bans. At the same time, the volume of export of essential goods is monitored.
