Bishkek, Aug. 19, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Aida Ismailova and Chinese Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Du Dewen took part in a ceremony of transferring humanitarian aid from China, the press service of the Government reported.
Deputy PM Ismailova thanked the Chinese side on behalf of the Kyrgyz Government for the assistance provided.
"Today we have received another batch of humanitarian aid from the friendly people of the People's Republic of China. Earlier, during the pandemic, a group of Chinese medical workers visited the republic, they provided great advice to their Kyrgyz colleagues. The assistance received will be directed to equipping hospitals, which are being built in regions of the country and buildings where medical institutions will be located,” Ismailova noted.
The humanitarian cargo consists of medical equipment, medicines and personal protective equipment.
