Kyrgyzstan's Deputy PM Ismailova pays working visit to south of country

Bishkek, Oct. 24, 2020. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Aida Ismailova paid a working visit to Dzhalal-Abad Oblast of the country, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said Friday.

"At present, epidemiological situation in Osh, Dzhalal-Abad and Batken Oblasts is severe, and the number of coronavirus patients is growing every day. Therefore, I decided to get acquainted with the situation on the spot," said Ismailova.

The deputy PM familiarized with conditions, under which coronavirus patients are treated in the red zone of Osh Oblast Infectious Diseases Hospital.

Also, she checked the availability of prescription drugs and medicines. Together with responsible employees, Ismailova toured the infectious diseases hospital under construction, met with medical workers and discussed shortcomings, problems and suggestions for improvement.

In Dzhalal-Abad Oblast, during her visit to the rehabilitation center under construction, Deputy PM Ismailova instructed to find ways to put it into operation as soon as possible and address funding issues.

The construction of a 40-bed infectious diseases department has begun in Suzak region of Dzhalal-Abad Oblast.

Deputy PM Aida Ismailova instructed the management of Kyrgyzstan's Health Ministry to provide hospital in the regions with personnel taking into consideration the development of the epidemiological situation.
