Deputy PM Madumarov inspects Osh Oblast's preparations for parliamentary elections

Bishkek, Aug. 28, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan's Deputy Prime Minister Akram Madumarov inspected preparations for the upcoming Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament) in Osh Oblast and the city of Osh, the Government's press service reported.

As part of his working visit, Madumarov visited a number of polling stations in Kara-Suu and Aravan regions of the oblast, as well as in Osh city. He inspected the available material and technical base at the polling stations and also spoke with representatives of precinct commissions.

Further, the deputy prime minister attended a meeting of the oblast and city headquarters in preparation for the parliamentary elections.

At the end of the meeting, a number of instructions were given regarding the provision of high-speed Internet, communications, and office equipment.

"Epidemiological situation in the region should be under constant control. I ask you to pay great attention to ensuring sanitary norms and requirements," Akram Madumarov said.
