Almaty, Jan.31, 2020. /Kabar/. Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov attended the “Digital Almaty: the Digital Future of the Global Economy”, which is taking place in Kazakhstan’s Almaty city.
Speaking at the plenary session, Jenish Razakov noted the theme of artificial intelligence and processing of large data and digitalization in general, is relevant for Kyrgyzstan.
"Digitalization is one of the priorities of our state policy. Last year, a large package of regulations was adopted that promote the development of information and communication technologies. In order to protect consumer rights and combat the shadow economy, the pilot project of product labeling is coming to a logical conclusion, which in the future will create favourable conditions for traceability of goods," he said.
The deputy PM of Kyrgyzstan added that "State as a platform" pilot project is being launched in order to introduce innovative solutions for provision of state and municipal services and regulate new digital relations.
"Projects related to building our own secure digital infrastructure are being implemented. At present, the foundation has been laid for the construction of own data center," Jenish Razakov said, stressing that special attention will be paid to projects with prospects and scalability not only in Kyrgyzstan, but also throughout the region.
According to Razakov, the use of artificial intelligence in Kyrgyzstan is in the implementation stage.
"Artificial Intelligence is developed by the High Technology Park. Developments in the field of data management using artificial intelligence are underway. Since large data play an important role, the introduction of self-learning algorithms will effectively find the required information. In general, our main goal is to provide a comfortable and secure environment for companies creating breakthrough technologies," he said.
The deputy PM emphasized today there are acute problems in ensuring information and cybersecurity.
"Only joint efforts to implement the digital agenda will allow our countries to enter new foreign markets, and in the future to take a worthy place in the global competitive space. And, of course, the maximum achievement will be to ensure the "four freedoms" within the Eurasian Economic Union through the implementation of the digital agenda," concluded Jenish Razakov.
Deputy PM of Kyrgyzstan Jenish Razakov took part in the Digital Future of Global Economy Forum, which is taking place alongside with the regular meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council (EIGC).
Prime Minister of the country Mukhammedkalyi Abylgaziev will take part in the EIGC meeting.

14 issues are expected to be discussed at the EIGC meeting, including those related to the elimination of barriers in the framework of the functioning of the domestic market of the EAEU, the execution of previously given orders, the formation of an ecosystem of digital transport corridors, work on the draft Agreement on the regulation of the alcohol market in the framework of integration association, improvement of mechanisms for the use of special protective, anti-dumping and compensation measures taking into account international rules and regulations.
