During a meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Combating COVID-19, Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Prime Minister Elvira Surabaldiyeva harshly criticized the Ministry of Health and local authorities on the issue of reporting on humanitarian aid, the press service of the Kyrgyz Government said.
"State and local authorities were tasked with providing a full report on humanitarian aid received. We need complete and reliable reporting. Citizens, MPs, international organizations and donors who provided assistance are expecting this. However, the reports provided are incomplete and incomprehensible on some points," Surabaldiyeva resented.
In addition, the official raised the following issues: what specific medical devices were delivered to oblast health-care facilities in Talas and Chui Oblasts? What consumables have been received, how many test systems have arrived in Osh Oblast? How many ventilators, concentrators, X-ray devices were received in the field?
"The report indicates that 325 recirculators were purchased, but does not indicate where they are? Why isn't medical equipment on the balance sheet and recorded accordingly?! All the assistance received from citizens, donors and volunteers will be thoroughly examined," Surabaldiyeva added.
