Bishkek, Nov. 19, 2020. /Kabar/. Acting President of Kyrgyzstan, Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Talant Mamytov received on Thursday Deputy Prime Minister of the country Elvira Surabaldiyeva, the press service of the Kyrgyz president reported.
The meeting was also attended by Health Minister Alymkadyr Beishenaliyev, heads of the Ministry of Labor and Social Development, the Social Fund and the Mandatory Health Insurance Fund.
Measures taken by the Government to ensure social stability in the country were discussed. In particular, the issues of stabilizing the epidemiological situation, ensuring timely payments to medical workers, ensuring a sufficient number of medicines and test systems, readiness of hospitals, payment of social benefits and pensions, transparency in the distribution of incoming humanitarian aid, etc. were considered.
Surabaldiyeva reported about the current epidemiological situation in the country, measures to combat the coronavirus pandemic.
She noted t the Government is taking exhaustive measures to reduce the negative impact of the disease. The deputy PM informed about the availability of a sufficient number of test systems, equipment of medical institutions.
Besides, Elvira Surabaldiyeva provided information about current situation and measures taken to ensure social stability in the country.
Talent Mamytov noted the special importance of strengthening the work to prevent the spread of coronavirus infection in the country and ensuring timely funding of works aimed at fighting the pandemic.
He also drew attention to the importance of providing maximum support to health workers, providing them with all necessary medical supplies, as well as ensuring sufficient stock of medicines to avoid shortages of certain drugs and to prevent price speculation.
The acting president urged to continue work on digitalization of public services so that citizens in the conditions of pandemic could receive state guarantees and services online.
