Bishkek, Nov. 30, 2018. /Kabar/. A delegation of the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic headed by Deputy Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Assel Koduranova attended the 48th Plenary Session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS IPA) on Thursday, the press service of the Kyrgyz Parliament reported.
Chairperson of the Federation Council of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation Valentina Matviyenko officially opened the 48th meeting of the CIS IPA. The participants in the meeting of the CIS IPA heard reports on the model draft laws presented at this meeting. These documents indicate recommendations and suggestions for improving the quality of education, developing children's tourism and applying modern mechanisms in the information and communication sphere. The issues of environmental policy formation, the development of public-private partnership mechanisms in the CIS countries, compliance with established standards in the field of tourism, strengthening and development of trade relations were touched upon.
In addition, representatives of parliamentary delegations were presented with CIS IPA awards, among them is deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh Nurbek Alimbekov.
Following the 48th Plenary Session of the Interparliamentary Assembly of Member Nations of the Commonwealth of Independent States, a press conference of the heads of parliamentary delegations was held.
