Bishkek, May 27, 2021 . / Kabar / . At a roundtable in Bishkek entitled "Women Deputies - Strong Local Self-Government" Deputy Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament Aida Kasmaliyeva noted a positive increase in women's activity in business.
Speaking about the need for women in self-actualization, the deputy urged all women to be more active in the political life of the country.
"We need to attract more active women and support each other. To do this, you need to get an education, to realize yourself. You should know how to work with investors, how the budget is formed, how to write bills, etc. I encourage all women to take part in training sessions and leadership schools and prove themselves," Kasmaliyeva said.
She noted there is a new tendency now when successful female businessmen come from villages. Light industry, trade, manufacturing - in most cases these sectors are led by women.
"You should not put a lot of hope on the government and wait, start to realize yourselves. Kyrgyzstan has started to take new steps towards gender equality. This is very good. We are ready to support women leaders in every way," the MP said.
