Bishkek, July 1, 2021 . / Kabar / . "Despite the coronavirus pandemic, you have proven that nothing can get in the way of acquiring knowledge,” President of Kyrgyzstan Sadyr Zhaparov said Thursday at a ceremony to award “golden certificates” to school graduates.
The head of state congratulated the graduates, noting he is proud that they received the highest scores on the nationwide test.
President Zhaparov said that 54 graduates obtained “golden certificates” in 2019, while this year the number increased to 58.
"You all earned the highest score on the nationwide testing. This is the result of years of hard work and your attitude toward your studies. Your certificate of distinction will allow you to enter any public university without competition. The lion's share of the testing participants go to advanced universities abroad. This shows the potential of national education," Zhaparov said.
The nationwide testing has been conducted in Kyrgyzstan since 2002 by decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, and the threshold point for admission to the university is 110 points.
