Bishkek, Sept. 17, 2022. / Kabar /. The State Committee for National Security of Kyrgyzstan (SCNS) said that destructive forces are spreading false information.
The press service of the security committee reported that at present, destructive forces are spreading false information in the media and in the Internet space, which purposefully discredit the actions of the country's leadership, heads of law enforcement agencies and the Kyrgyz Republic, using the situation that has developed on the border, thereby assisting in attempts to violate territorial integrity and sovereignty of the country.
The interested forces thus want to expose the authorities of Kyrgyzstan and our state itself in a negative light before the public, the world community, accusing them of long-standing problems that the authorities have begun to solve today, and without prejudice to anyone.
Against the backdrop of a difficult situation on the state border and the situation that is developing in the information field, efforts are being made to present Kyrgyzstan as an aggressor, such actions do not honor anyone, no matter how much political weight and influence they have in society, and testifies to the dominance of traitors to the Kyrgyz state and qualities to the people, especially in such a difficult time for the country and the people. In this regard, the State Committee for National Security warns of potential serious criminal liability for such actions detrimental to the security and sovereignty of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The State Committee for National Security of the Kyrgyz Republic also calls on all political forces and the public to soberly assess the situation, not to succumb to provocations, and vice versa to help state bodies and the country in matters of speedy settlement of the situation and further strengthening of statehood.
The State Committee for National Security calls on everyone, especially representatives of the media, NGOs, activists, bloggers and others not to print, distribute or share unverified, false, often provocative information, which serves as an additional weighty reason for the escalation of the situation, for which the legislation provides for appropriate criminal and other liability.
