Dialogue between financial institutions, business community in Batken

Osh, Apr. 3, 2019. /Kabar/. A round table discussion on “Access to Financial Services” organized by the National Bank of the Kyrgyz Republic was held in the city of Kyzyl-Kyia, Batken oblast, on Tuesday as part of the implementation of the Decree of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic on Declaring 2019 the Year of Regional Development and Digitalization of the country.

The event was attended by the leaders of the National Bank, the Union of Banks of Kyrgyzstan, the Russian-Kyrgyz Development Fund, the Guarantee Fund, the Interbank Processing Center, the country's commercial banks, and First Deputy Governor of Batken oblast J. Isakulov, Mayor of Kyzyl-Kyia E. Topchubaev, akims of regions of Batken oblast and representatives of local business communities.

This event had been organized in order to build an effective dialogue between financial institutions and the business community of the three oblasts with the participation of local government authorities.

Information on measures and efforts undertaken by the main regulator and the country's banking sector as a whole to ensure access of the population and business entities to high-quality and affordable banking and financial services was also provided.
