Bishkek, Mar. 22, 2019. /Kabar/. The Digital Competence Center has been opened in Bishkek, the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan reported.
According to their information, a memorandum of interaction and cooperation on the project “Digital Competence Center” was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Institute of Electronics and Telecommunications.
As noted, the Digital Competence Center was created for formation, renewal and expansion of competencies among citizens, government officials and professionals in demand in digital economy.
“The development of digital economy has a huge impact on the labor market. The structure of employment is changing, new requirements for professional competencies are emerging, the demand for specialists in the field of information and communication technologies is growing. The center of digital competence is designed to promote the formation of a new system for managing national qualifications,” the message says.
