Bishkek, Nov. 15, 2018. /Kabar/. An expert round table on “The Concept of the National Digital Transformation Program ‘DIGITAL KYRGYZSTAN’- 2019-2023” will be held in Bishkek on November 16, 2018.
Experts, deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh (Kyrgyz Parliament), representatives of state bodies, as well as international organizations and the diplomatic corps will participate in the round table.
The purpose of the event is to find the best solutions for digital transformation, discuss the proposed new Concept of the National Program, approaches and ideas with development partners, government representatives, experts and the business community, taking into account the experience of other states. The draft Concept of the National Program was developed with the participation of all concerned sides in fulfillment of the instructions of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic.
At the round table, the draft Concept of the National Digital Transformation Program - "Digital Kyrgyzstan" 2019-2023, the main approaches to creating conditions for the emergence of the digital economy, introduction of digital technologies in the public administration, the creation of digital public services, competence centers, innovative clusters, new opportunities for the country's population and conditions for an economic breakthrough, taking into account international experience in introducing digital innovations will be discussed.
The event is held by the Secretariat of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic together with the State Committee for Information Technologies and Communications and the Civil Initiative on Internet Policy Public Foundation with the support of the United Nations Development Program in the Kyrgyz Republic.
