Bishkek, Dec. 5, 2018. /Kabar/. First Deputy Foreign Minister Dinara Kemelova met with the European Union Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Eduard Auer, the press service of the ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country reported.
During the conversation, topical issues of cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the EU were discussed, as well as cooperation in the framework of the EU project and program activities in the Kyrgyz Republic, including in the area of using water and energy resources at the national and regional levels.
Kemelova told about the positive trends in the development of cooperation between Central Asian countries, the situation in the field of water use, and also noted the special interest of the Kyrgyz side in obtaining EU support in implementing the Taza Suu project to provide clean drinking water to people in rural areas.
In conclusion, the sides expressed readiness for further dialogue on the development and strengthening of relations between the Kyrgyz Republic and the EU in various areas of mutual interest.
