Bishkek, July 20, 2020. /Kabar/. The Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic is preparing for the 2020-2021 school year in accordance with the approved post-crisis plan.
Given the current epidemiological situation, the organization of distance learning in the first quarter of the new school year is being prepared, the press service of the Education Ministry reported.
If the sanitary-epidemiological services decide that the spread of coronavirus does not pose a threat in some areas, the organization of educational process in these schools will be considered separately.
Therefore, the Kyrgyz Education Ministry considers it appropriate that teachers, parents and students begin preparing for distance learning. If the situation changes for the better, pupils will be able to attend school in real time.
At present, the ministry has established an expert and advisory council consisting of practicing teachers, experts and heads of educational organizations. The council will analyze experience of other countries and make decisions taking into account safety of children and teachers, as well as age characteristics of students.
