Dollar exchange rate down in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, July 18, 2024 . / Kabar / . The National Bank of Kyrgyzstan continues to reduce the official dollar exchange rate.

The regulator approved the official rate for July 18 at the level of KGS 84. 95 per 1 dollar, the rate decreased by 0.32%. The euro costs KGS 92.96, the ruble - KGS 0.96 and the tenge - KGS 0.17.

In commercial banks, the average dollar exchange rate makes: selling - KGS 85.57, buying - KGS 84.72.

At the beginning of the year the dollar exchange rate was almost KGS 90.

Since the beginning of 2024, the National Bank of the county has conducted 11 interventions to buy back the dollar in the foreign exchange market.
