“On behalf of the American people, I congratulate you and the people of the Kyrgyz Republic on the 28th anniversary of independence. As your country celebrates its independence on Aug.31, we send our sincere wishes for the prosperity of Kyrgyzstan.
Over the past 28 years, the relations between our two countries have contributed to building strong ties between our peoples. The resumption of our dialogue this year reflects a positive direction in the development of our relations, which, I hope, will soon lead to the conclusion of a new bilateral cooperation agreement. I look forward to the further development of friendly relations between our countries for the benefit of the peoples of the United States of America and the Kyrgyz Republic,” the congratulatory telegram reads.
