Bishkek, Nov.18, 2019. /Kabar/. Areas, identified by the state, are priorities for donor organizations, Ambassador of Swiss Confederation to Kyrgyzstan Veronique Hulmann said at the briefing ahead of the donor conference with the participation of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov.
She said in October all donor communities held meetings with government representatives to discuss progress over the years.
“Over the past few months, we have worked closely with Kyrgyz government representatives to assess these achievements and develop an action plan for the next four years. Tomorrow we will have to discuss whether we all agree on the achievements and activities for the next 4 years, and to coordinate our actions and align with Kyrgyzstan's plans and strategies,” said Veronique Hulmann.
The ambassador noted not only the public sector and donors, but also representatives of the private and civil sectors would participate in the conference.
She briefly highlighted the achievements in areas such as water management, health, environment protection, the rule of law.
"We will have four panel discussions to discuss these topics,” she added.
