Double shake: Two minor quakes recorded in Osh Oblast of Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Feb. 9, 2021. / Kabar /. Two minor earthquakes was recorded Monday in Kyrgyzstan’s Osh Oblast.

According to the Institute of Seismology of the Kyrgyz National Academy of Sciences, the first 3.5-magnitude quake was registered at 9:33 a.m., while the second one with a magnitude of 3 - at 5:57 p.m.

Tremors of the first quake were felt in villages of Chong-Alay region, and the 3—magnitude earthquake’s – in villages of Uzgen region of Osh Oblast.

No casualties or destructions reported as a result of the quakes.
