Drinking water supply systems to be built in 44 villages of Batken

Bishkek, Aug. 10, 2021. / Kabar /. Drinking Water supply systems will be built in 44 villages of Batken region as part of the Improving Rural Water Supply and Sanitation in Batken and Talas Oblasts project through the Islamic Development Bank and the Saudi Development Fund.

Dostukbek Obodoev, Director of the Department for Development of Drinking Water Supply and Wastewater Disposal under the State Agency for Architecture, Construction and Housing and Utilities said at a press conference that 10 out of 44 villages in the lists are in Leilek region, 5 in Batken region and 29 villages in Kadamjai region.

“Currently, the design organization for these villages is developing design and estimate documents. Note that construction work at the expense of special funds in the Batken region in the village of Maksat in the amount of 12 million 800 thousand soms have begun and are in an active phase,” he said.
