Bishkek, April 11, 2022. / Kabar /. The Service for Combating Illicit Drug Trafficking of Kyrgyzstan has identified and suppressed the activities of a drug laboratory for the illegal artisanal production of drugs of the cannabis group.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs said that a citizen of Issyk-Kul region T.A. was detained on suspicion of committing a crime.
During the inspection of the house of T.A., law enforcement officers found a storage room equipped for a drug laboratory for the production of drugs of the cannabis group. In addition, a 100-liter blue plastic barrel was found and seized, which contained a green substance with a specific smell of hemp (the weight with packaging was 26 kg of a narcotic substance, presumably hashish), as well as devices for the manufacture of drugs: a net, a watering can, bucket.
Further, in the kitchen, on the windowsill in a gray plastic container, narcotic drugs made in the drug laboratory were found and confiscated - hashish with a total weight of 26 g, stuffed under matchboxes.
The total weight of the seized narcotic drugs amounted to 26 kg 26 g.
The detainee was placed in the temporary detention center of the Central Internal Affairs Directorate in Bishkek. Currently, further special investigative actions are being carried out to identify other persons involved in this crime.
