During Putin's visit to Kyrgyzstan the cooperation between the two countries for 25 years will be assessed - ambassador

During Russian President Vladimir Putin's visit to Kyrgyzstan, cooperation of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation for 25 years will be assessed and, in particular what the parties have reached and what to do, Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Andrei Krutko told in Bishkek during the international conference "Russia-Kyrgyzstan: Partnership, aimed at the future (security, economic, humanitarian cooperation)".

He said that a wide range of issues is on the agenda of Putin's visit to Kyrgyzstan.

"This is our bilateral cooperation, trade and economic, humanitarian and military-political cooperation. A week after the visit of the Russian leader, a meeting of the inter-governmental council of the Eurasian Economic Council will be held in Bishkek. I want to remind that this year Kyrgyzstan chairs the EEU. And this conjugation of bilateral and multilateral development is a symbol of our times. Also this year we will mark the third anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s accession to the EEU. In this respect there are a lot of controversy by objective observers and analysts, but the pros are more," he said.

Krutko also said that the EEU countries gradually overcome the consequences that came as a result of the global crisis.

"As for the consequences of Kyrgyzstan’s in the EEU, than even its impossible to count the pros on the fingers of both hands. This is benefits that Kyrgyz workers have received in Russia. In addition, in 2016 the trade turnover between Kyrgyzstan and Russia has increased, especially in the field of export of agricultural products," he added.
