Bishkek, Sept. 15, 2021. / Kabar /. A joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) took place in Dushanbe (Tajikistan).
The meeting was attended by Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Ruslan Kazakbaev, Secretary of the Security Council Marat Imankulov and Minister of Defense Baktybek Bekbolotov, the press service of the pesident of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
The participants discussed measures for joint response to challenges and threats to collective security, including taking into account the situation in Afghanistan.
A number of documents were signed aimed at the development of the Organization and further strengthening of cooperation within the framework of the CSTO.
The chairmanship of the CSTO will be moved to Armenia In 2021-2022.
