Bishkek, Feb.5, 2020. /Kabar/. From November 2019 to January 2020, 35 thousand tons of balance ore with an average grade of 1.85 grams per ton was mined and stored at the Dzherui deposit, spokesperson of the Altyn Alliance LLC Kasiyet Karacholokova said.
She added in the meantime, the construction and installation works are being completed and the commissioning is underway.
Thus, installation of steel structures and basic process equipment are at the completion stage, and the administrative and household complex is undergoing decoration work, tailing dump is 95% readiness complete, etc.
“All works are on schedule,” the spokesperson concluded.
The Dzherui deposit, mined by Altyn Alliance LLC, is the second largest gold deposit in Kyrgyzstan after the Kumtor gold mine.
It is located in Talas Oblast. The total volume of ore is 21 million tons, the average gold grade is 3.7 grams per ton. The total amount of confirmed reserves is 88 tons. The productivity of the opencast mine, where works are already underway, is 5 million cubic meters per year of rock mass.
