Dzhumabekov is open to comprehensive dialogue with State Duma in all areas of Kyrgyz-Russian relations

Bishkek, Nov. 28, 2018 / Kabar /. Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh Dastanbek Dzhumabekov at a meeting with Russian Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin said that he is always ready and open to a comprehensive and confidential dialogue with the State Duma in all areas of Kyrgyz-Russian relations.

“The upcoming state visit of Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin to Kyrgyzstan in March 2019 inspires strong confidence in the further development of multifaceted cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and the Russian Federation in the spirit of cooperation and strategic partnership,” said Dzhumabekov.

In addition, during the meeting, the Kyrgyz Speaker noted the importance of the International Forum on the Development of Parliamentarism, held in June, which “attracted the attention of parliamentarians from around the world to the most pressing issues on the international agenda”.

Dzhumabekov thanked Volodin for his personal contribution to the development and strengthening of cooperation between the two countries, as well as for the fact that the State Duma made a decision allowing citizens of Kyrgyzstan to use their national driving license in carrying out entrepreneurial and labor activities in the Russian Federation.

The Speaker of the Jogorku Kenesh congratulated the State Duma on the upcoming 25th anniversary of the formation of the Federal Assembly of the Russian Federation, stating that "this is the story of the planned development of parliamentary democracy and parliamentary diplomacy."
