Bishkek, Dec.2, 2024. /Kabar/. The Council of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) has approved and sent to countries of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) for domestic procedures necessary for signing the draft Agreement on the admission of brokers and dealers from one state of the EAEU to participate in exchange trading in other countries of the “five”.
The agreement will create a single space for exchange operations, where brokers and dealers will be able to work on the basis of licenses issued by the authorized bodies of the countries of origin, the Eurasian Commission said.
The document will significantly expand opportunities for investors, increase liquidity and attractiveness of financial instruments traded on the EAEU exchange platforms.
“Today's Agreement together with the previously adopted Agreement on Admission and Circulation of Securities are aimed at the formation of a common financial market and exchange space within the EAEU”, Minister for Economy and Financial Policy of the EEC Bakhyt Sultanov commented the document.
