Bishkek, Jan.13, 2025. /Kabar/. A working meeting was held on the platform of the Eurasian Economic Commission between Director of the Department of Trade Policy of the Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) Vladimir Serpikov and Minister Plenipotentiary for Trade and Economic Affairs of the Embassy of China in Russia Liu Jin.
The press service of the EEC reported that the sides discussed the current state and prospects for the development of interaction, the status of implementation of the agreements of the 4th meeting of the Joint Commission on the implementation of the Agreement on Trade and Economic Cooperation between the Eurasian Economic Union and China, as well as the implementation of the roadmap EAEU - PRC, approved in 2023.
In addition, an agreement was reached to start active preparations for the 5th meeting of the Joint Commission, scheduled to be held in 2025 in one of the countries of the Union.
“I propose to work on updating the roadmap this year, including the most demanded areas of cooperation, which will contribute to further growth of trade between our states,” noted Vladimir Serpikov.
