Minsk, June 21, 2022. /Kabar/. A meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council with the participation of Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers – head of the Presidential Administration of Kyrgyzstan Akylbek Zhaparov started in Minsk.
In his speech, the head of the Kyrgyz Cabinet pointed out that in the first five months of this year a positive dynamics of growth is observed in gross domestic product.
"Thus, according to the statistics, the volume of GDP of Kyrgyzstan from January till April made KGS 270 billion, foreign trade turnover – USD 3 billion dollars, growth of mutual trade - 16.3% with export increasing by 26.3% and import - 12.3%. Meanwhile, inflation is growing, the average annual inflation rate compared to last year was 12.8%," he said.
The meeting of the Eurasian Intergovernmental Council is taking place in Minsk on June 20-21 in full-time format with the participation of heads of government of the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU), observer states - Cuba and Uzbekistan, and Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian Economic Commission Mikhail Myasnikovich.
EAEU heads of government will discuss some issues related to the introduction of marking of goods with identification means in the Union, the creation of a commission on cooperation and import substitution in priority and high-tech industries, and the program of joint actions of EAEU member states in the field of consumer protection.
