Early voting in presidential elections starts in Uzbekistan

Early voting in the presidential elections in Uzbekistan has started today at 11.00 am Tashkent time, UzA reported.

Voting at foreign polling stations began in the Russian Far East and Japan, as well as in China and South Korea, where polling stations have been opened at the diplomatic missions of Uzbekistan.

According to the decision of the Central Election Commission, the time of early voting at the polling station is determined from 9:00 to 18:00 on weekdays and from 11:00 to 17:00 on weekends and holidays.

Advance polling ends on 5 July.

Fifty-six polling stations have been established at diplomatic and other representations of Uzbekistan in foreign countries.
