Earthquake of 3-magnitude occurred on Kyrgyz-Tajik border

Bishkek, March 12, 2021 . / Kabar / . 3-magnitude earthquake occurred on Friday at 12:48 a.m. local time on the border of Kyrgyzstan and Tajikistan.

The Institute of Seismology of the country’s National Academy of Sciences reported that the origin of the minor quake is located on the Kyrgyz-Tajik border, in 28 km to the south-east from Bor-Debe village, in 36 km to the south-west from Nura village, in 33 km to the south-east from Kara-Kindik village, in 140 km to the south-east from Osh city.

The intensity of the quake was not felt in settlements of the republic.
