Bishkek, May 8, 2018 / Kabar /. An earthquake occurred on the Kyrgyz-Chinese border, the press service of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.
"According to data of the Institute of Seismology of the National Academy of Sciences of the Kyrgyz Republic on May 8 at 06:44 local time 5 magnitude earthquake was registered on the border of Kyrgyzstan and China," the report said.
In Kyrgyzstan’s Torguart viilage of Naryn oblast, the intensity of the tremors was 2.5.
According to preliminary data, there are no victims and no destruction.
